| As a company we have been assessed under the European Lift Directive 95/16/EC and have been
awarded the Quality Assurance Module Certificate of Conformity to Annex X111 of the Lift Directive.
This directive is strictly adhered to via EN81. |
| Significant steps have been taken to ensure compliance to the European Directive 89/336/EEC with
regards to Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). All electrical and electronic apparatus have
undergone both in house testing and in certain cases testing via a Namas accredited test facility,
resulting in documentation allowing us to issue self certification of compliance with the directive. |

General Specification
- All control equipment is mounted within a sheet steel
enclosure, with a minimum protection rating of IP54, suitable
for wall/floor mounting, with front access only required.
All panels are supplied with lifting eyes to ease
transportation to the machine room. Encapsulated diagrams
and manuals are supplied in an internally mounted
document pocket.
- The control system operates from a supply of 110VAC
(optionally 240VAC) with the main control gear being
selected from the Telemechanique 'Tesys' range with silver
to silver contacts.
- Main contactors are rated to AC3 duty plus a minimum of
10% for inching duty, and internal panel wiring is via
tri-rated cable to BS6231 or optionally using LSZH cable.
- Shrouded pattern terminals prevent direct finger contact,
and when fitted, resistors are mounted externally in
IP20 enclosures to give optimum heat dissipation.
- All electronics, hardware and software, utilised with our
control systems are produced in house, designed by our R+D
team of engineers with manufacturing via our PCB
department.
