Tapehead  ILE Low Profile Floating Tapehead Detector

 - This tapehead detector unit is available in 4 or 8 way
   operation both using 80mm wide tape. The 4 way unit
   utilises 4 South pole magents horizontally displaced in
   line and the 8 way unit uses an extra 4 North pole magnet
   sensors mounted above the south pole sensors.

 - Sensor heads are mounted on a floating self lubricating
   nylon guide system in order to minimize guide wear
   associated with misalignment of the tape in the lift shaft.

 - Relay contact are 250V 5Amp rated and on site configurable
   as normally open or normally closed.

Shaft Encoder

 - The ILE digital shaft encoder has been developed for use on
   higher speed lifts or where the use of a tapehead or
   proximity switching devices is not suitable. The system is
   a dedicated position sensing device, capable of providing
   control over the lifts slowing and stopping functions.

 - The positioning and speed information is achieved via a 1024
   pulse per revolution encoder preferably mounted on the
   overspeed governor. A correction proximity is mounted
   on the lift car for automatic floor learning and subsequent
   position checking. Levelling accuracy of ± 5mm is achievable.

 - A programming unit is supplied and fitted with each SKYCOM
   control panel or it can be configured from a laptop.

 - With a compatible drive, accurate direct to floor operation is
   possible, thus reducing passenger waiting times and
   improving overall system efficiency.

Stand alone System  Stand alone System

 - For lifts requiring shaft encoder operation where the Bode
   overspeed governor is not being fitted and no encoder is
   or can be fitted to the motor, we can offer a stand alone
   system where the encoder is fitted on the lift car and a
   toothed belt is run over pulleys attached to the car. All
   pulleys and mounting brackets are included in the package.

   trailing flex

 - The unit has a clear backlit LCD display to show the position
   of the lift regardless of mains power being on or off. It is
   fully programmable and allows up to 7 characters per
   location, with unlimited floor designations stored
   in non-volatile memory.
